Qualified teacher status (QTS) is the professional status teachers in England gain at the end of their teacher training. With effect from 1 February 2023, teachers with a teaching qualification from nine countries(incuding India) will be able to apply for jobs in the UK under a fairer approach to obtaining the qualified teacher status (QTS)
If you are a teacher and qualified outside of UK, you may able able to find a job in English schools for upto 4 years.However, you need to obtain QTS within this period to continue as it is a legal requirement.
