How do you know if an offer letter is real?

Many people are receiving job offers from various companies across the UK these days.. But how to know if a job offer is fake? or how to check if a company is registered in the UK?

Finding out the genuineness of the company is the only way to figure out whether you got the offers from a real company; but how?

The genuine UK companies are registered with companies house and can be checked on www.companieshouse.gov.uk

Various cases of cyber fraud are reported these days and please do not proceed with these offers. Most such job offers are made by persons who do not own any companies or fake job offers in the names of reputed companies.
They seem to collect credit card details or money in advance. They may ask persons to make payments on the pretext of visa fees or medical tests etc. and do not respond once the payment is made.
